Date of Birth: June 5, 2002

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Lewis MacDougall soared onto the screen for the first time in the fantasy film Pan (2015). Acting alongside A-listers Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara, Lewis played Peter's best friend Nibs in the movie.

Lewis caught the acting bug as a young boy, and enrolled at The Drama Studio in Edinburgh, which teaches acting, singing and dancing to children. After several years of studying there, he was advised by the director of the group, Julie McDonald, to attend an open audition for the movie Pan. He did, and after he landed the role of Nibs at age 11, he signed up with an agency and began going to regular auditions.

In 2016, he landed a starring role as the central actor in A Monster Calls. He played Conor O'Malley in the film, which was adapted from the award-winning children's novel of the same name by Patrick Ness.

The movie is about a young boy who struggles with his mother's deteriorating health at home and is the target of bullies at school. He deals with his unfortunate circumstances by escaping into a fantasy world with the help of a friendly, towering tree monster (voiced by Liam Neeson). Felicity Jones played the ailing mother and Sigourney Weaver co-starred as Conor's grandmother.

Lewis' latest projects include the dramedy Boundaries with Vera Farmiga, Christopher Plummer and Peter Fonda, and the sci-fi fantasy A Monster Calls (2016) starring Felicity Jones.

Lewis lives with his father, William. He enjoys XBox and playing football with his friends. He has also recently taken up golf.
