This offbeat and fascinating drama was totally created by performance-artist Antin as a tribute to a recently discovered Yiddish shtetl film from the silent era. The original was made in Cracow by controversial Soviet silent-film director Yevgeny Antinov.

The story chronicles life in a Jewish village (shtetl) and follows the romance between a young woman and a poet. The film does contain graphic nudity and sex.
