Scott Beaudin began acting at the young age of seven. His first television role was in a children's series called Backyard Bug Adventures, playing the lead role as Zack, an insect enthusiast. From there he landed guest appearances on television shows such as The Zack Files and Sue Thomas F.B. Eye. He also played a featured role in the CTV movie Sticks and Stones.

Beaudin has voiced over 20 different cartoons, commercials, and radio dramas. One of his cartoons, Peep and the Big Wide World, won a Daytime Emmy Award. He starred in the small budget films Your Beautiful Cul-De-Sac Home (2007) and Summerhood (2008), both of which screened at various film festivals before going straight to DVD. His feature film debut was in Victoria Day (2009). In 2006 Beaudin spent a season at the Stratford Festival playing "The Artful Dodger" in the musical Oliver! opposite Colm Feore as Fagin, and then reprised his role for Theatre Aquarius' production of Oliver! in Hamilton, Ontario.

Beaudin lives in Hamilton with his parents and sister.
