You'll Like My Mother
When her husband is killed in Vietnam, Francesca Kinsolving (Patty Duke) finds herself pregnant and alone. She resolves to visit her in-laws in Minnesota, believing, based on her late husband's assurances, that she'll be welcomed there. Instead, she finds Mrs. Kinsolving (Rosemary Murphy) a dreadful curmudgeon who won't even admit that her son married.
Shaken but not scared off, Francesca sticks around and discovers she may be entitled to the family fortune.
