This is a sumptuous treat for audiences—The Royal Ballet's revival of Anthony Dowell's romantic production of Swan Lake whose designs were inspired by Imperial Russia of 1895, when the ballet was first performed. This production at Covent Garden recreates closely the choreography of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. Argentine prima ballerina Marianela Nunez is on stunning form as Odette, superbly partnered by the gifted Thiago Soares as the Prince.
