Fathom Events and GKIDS are partnering to bring Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to select cinemas nationwide for a special two-day event on September 24 & 25 as part of Studio Ghibli Fest 2017. The debut film from Miyazaki, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is considered to be his masterwork.

Set in a devastated future world decimated by poisons, Nausicaä is the story of a young princess whose love for all living things leads her into terrible danger and eventual triumph.

Dubbed in English on Sept. 24 and subtitled on Sept. 25, this special two-day event will also include an exclusive edition of the GKIDS MINIFEST, an ongoing festival of short animated films from around the world!
