Quebec author François Agira may have written only one book, but he's become almost a myth. Living only on his residuals, he has led a hedonistic life so far. Now approaching his sixties, Agira starts having problems with his finances and with his erections.
He turns to his two sons, Paul, a free-spirited young man who follows in his father's footsteps and working on his first novel, and rigid Patrick, a workaholic executive at a pharmaceutical company, for comfort.
Now living with Paul and his girlfriend Sylvie, François tries to keep up the party lifestyle until he finds out things are more serious than he thought: he has cancer.
