We love Rio 6

April 10, 2023

They are a small town theater- the only one in town! They may not have all fancy stuff but they don't charge much. We've never had an issue, and enjoy taking the kids to see movies.

Why aren't there more diverse films?

October 12, 2018

Easily answered the owner is a homophobic, racist, xenophobe who doesn't put "Those kinds" of movies in their theater. They only hire children and actively under pay them by claiming they weren't "working" all the hours they were there. It's falling down the building is old and decrepit, its omniscient because it's the only theater within an hour of Beeville. I go because when I want to see a film it's close. But any historical movie showing the cruelty of white men during slavery, or any movie to do with segraegation or what has LGBT subject matter. Forget about it. They'll keep the same c list children's movie for over a month if need to to avoid putting "unacceptable" content.

screaming 2 year olds ruined movie

September 08, 2017

Went to see the movie IT. Could not hear or enjoy it for the screaming crying 2 year olds and 6 year olds that were terrified. I talked to the manager and he said that they can't do anything about it ...that the parents maybe could not find babysitters. The theater should put an age limit on movies like IT so other paying customers can actually enjoy the movie. The manager didn't care. He did not offer a refund and was RUDE to suggest that I was not being understanding of the parents with the screaming terrified kids. Will not be back.

rated R horror movie ruined by crying kids

September 08, 2017

Crying little kids ruined the movie IT. Who takes their little kids in to see a movie like that anyway? I could see if I went to see a cartoon but this was a rated R horror movie...
