Pretty Good for what it offers.

June 01, 2022

This is a nice, quiet, theater. It does not do much business, but I love having a lot of space. Easy to get to without much traffic. Anyone complaining about cleanliness has not been anywhere in their life except the spoiled, north side of SA. Far better than any ghetto area theater. This is not one of those. Its more on par with Huebner Oaks or the Silverado,

Dirtiest movie theater ever

October 28, 2019

Its too bad. I was really excited when AMC took over this movie theater thinking that perhaps a new team would make improvements however this continues to be the dirtiest movie theater I have ever set foot in. Shame on AMC for having no pride in their product. When I mentioned it to a manager I was told that there was not enough money in their budget to hire a cleaning crew. Drive to Santikos at the Rim unless you want to sit in someone else's sticky mess

WORST MOVIE CHOICES IN TOWN

September 03, 2019

My husband and I like to go to the movies at least once a week; however, at Boerne Theatre there are VERY few choices for adults. There are mainly kids' and teenagers' movies. It wasn't that way when it was a Starplex movie theatre. Another gripe is the RIDICULOUS cost of popcorn. It's the highest markup in concessions.

Best at never starting on time . If your always late this is the perfect place for you

August 03, 2019

I have been to a total of 8 movies at this theater . Every single one they don’t play ads and will make you sit in silent with a blank screen . This time I’ve been sitting in my seat . Movie start time was 1:30 .... no movie with a black screen and it’s 1:55. Worst experience ever. Also almost sat it nacho cheese while picking seat . Also now the movie just started and the wrong movie is playing . Instead of toy story . It’s a rated R movie that I’m trying to hide my child from seeing..

Nice Theatre Without the Drive to the Rim

February 06, 2019

Have been coming here for the last three years. Great theatre with nicely tiered comfy seats. Never a head blocking the screen. Good sound and digital picture quality though sound sometimes a bit too loud. Prices are very good and enough first run movies to keep people coming back. My only complaint is that some patrons create a horrible mess that is difficult for the limited staff to clean between shows. Not the staff fault with today's automated theatres. Some put their feet on the back of the seats in front that is totally unnecessary as there is lots of leg room. I do not use the concession so not reviewed.

Boerne

October 05, 2018

I was delighted when I saw Starplex being built here in Boerne. It was great having a theater in Boerne for the first few years. At the time it presented films that included something for everyone. That being said, I have become extremely disappointed in the venue of movies being presented today. For the most part, the movies have become entertainment for the kids; i.e. monsters movies, other world or monster movies, sci-fi movies, cartoon movies, etc. I have nothing against these in particular but these seem to be the more prevalent shows. Good entertainment for adult enjoyment seems almost non-existent. There are a few movies that adults might enjoy but either they are often middle or low grade movies. Seems like the better movies that appeal to the adults show through 1 or maybe 2 weekends then are either removed entirely or scheduled at times that move around like a peanut under coffee cups... and then, it's hit or miss at best, even if they do stay around for another week or so. I am disenchanted and would like to see more variety in your movies to include the over 3 to 25 year olds; that is, those of us who used to be able to go our for an enjoyable night at the movies.
