Born in Connecticut, Scott Terra was watching television at the age of seven when he turned to his mother and said, "I can do that." She took him to nearby New York City where they quickly found an agent. His first role was on the soap opera Guiding Light. He also appeared in numerous commercials and made a guest appearance on the sitcom Spin City before the family decided to relocate to Los Angeles. Terra has worked steadily ever since, with guest shots on shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed, Touched by an Angel, 7th Heaven and Providence.
His feature film debut was in Shadrach (1998) opposite Harvey Keitel and Andie McDowell. For the next few years his roles were mainly on television, where he was twice nominated for a Young Artist Award and also appeared in several television movies. In 2002 he began landing roles in major Hollywood films such as Eight Legged Freaks (2002), Daredevil (2003) -- playing a younger version of Ben Affleck's character -- and Dickie Roberts, Former Child Star (2003) opposite David Spade.
Terra still lives in Los Angeles and enjoys taking part in several sports such as golf, baseball, football and skiing. He also enjoys reading and has two dogs and a tarantula.
