Date of Birth: February 11, 1981

University of Toronto graduate Dru Viergever was born in Hamilton but raised in Burlington. From an early age, he loved musicals and performed in stage productions such as Oklahoma! and My Fair Lady at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in Cinema Studios and Music and while still in school, landed an agent and began getting work in television commercials. Although most of Dru's early performances were on television, he has also played roles in feature films such as Saw 3D (2010) and Dead Before Dawn 3D (2012).

Dru’s first TV role was a starring role as Stew Kubiak in Black Hole High for three seasons from 2003 to 2006. He also played guest roles on Convert One: The Hades Factor (2006), Trapped and Knights of Bloodsteel (2009). More recent television appearances include The Listener (2011) and Good Dog (2011).

His feature film debut was in Goldirocks (2003). Other films include Love… and Other Reasons to Panic (2007), The Cry of the Owl (2009), Survival of the Dead (2009), Score: A Hockey Musical (2010) and The Colony (2013), alongside Laurence Fishburne and Kevin Zegers.

An accomplished musician as well, Dru plays in a band when not on a TV or movie set.
