Don’t forget your ID
November 16, 2018
We have been to this theater a lot, and have generally had great experiences here, with the exception of one time. Unfortunately, that one time really took a toll on my opinion of the place. We had driven up from Branson to see a movie at the marquee suites in which you need an ID to get in. My father-in-law was planning on seeing the movie with us, but forgot his ID. He has had a stroke, and doesn’t always remember things, and is 71. He is very obviously over 21, but they did not permit him to see the movie and turned him away, suggesting we drive back to Branson to get his ID, which is asinine, because by the time we’d make it back the movie would be over. It would seem that good costumer service would be to permit a disabled older man to see the movie. Sure, don’t let him order alcohol, or sit at the bar, but a movie?! We have been many times since then and he isn’t even consistently asked for his ID, which is completely understandable seeing as he is 50 years over 21. Why they didn’t let him in that one time is beyond me. So long story short, pretty good theater, just DON’T forget your ID.
