SCHUYLER FISK

Date of Birth: July 8, 1982

Born in Virginia, Fisk is the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Sissy Spacek and production designer Jack Fisk. With both parents heavily in the motion picture industry, Fisk spent much of her childhood on film sets. With little encouragement, she followed in her mother's footsteps and began acting at a young age. Starting out in theatre, she soon made her way onto the big screen.

After landing bit parts in a number of forgettable films, her first big break came at age 12 when she landed a starring role in The Baby-Sitter's Club (1995). The exposure led to major roles in other film projects including My Friend Joe (1996), which garnered her numerous awards and accolades on the film festival circut, followed by Snow Day (2000) and Orange County (2002).

She also played Elizabeth Cotton, the sister of Mia Wasikowska's character in Restless (2011), and a supporting role as April in The Best of Me (2011), based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. In the Christmas-themed movie Every Other Holiday (2018), Schuyler played a starring role as a separated mother with two daughters, whose only wish is to spend Christmas with both their parents.

In addition to being an actress, Schuyler is also a photographer, musician and songwriter and has started her own line of handbags called "Applesky."

Since May 2012, she has been married to visual effects designer Chapman Bullock.
