Weta Senior Conceptual Designer Leri Greer talks to our host Alexandra Heilbron in Wellington, New Zealand about working on Ghost in the Shell starring Scarlett Johansson. He admits to being a big fan of Mangas and said it was great to reabsorb all the material before embarking on this journey. Originally from California, he reveals how he wound up at Weta after going to film school, then gravitating towards the art side of filmmaking. He talks about how the techniques have improved over the years and how hi-def cameras have changed things in order to make props as real as possible.
