Kung Fu Panda 4 debuts in top spot at weekend box office

Three new movies debuted on Friday, with all three taking spots in the top five. Check below to see the results.

Kung Fu Panda 4 starring Jack Black was the box office champion this weekend, taking in $58.3 million in its opening weekend.

Dune: Part Two starring Timothée Chalamet dropped a spot to second, earning an additional $46 million for a two-week total of $157 million.

Imaginary, the thrilling tale of a sinister teddy bear, debuted in third place, earning $10 million.

The inspiring Cabrini, based on a true story of a passionate woman trying to help the vulnerable, debuted in fourth, earning $7.6 million. Click here to read the true story.

Rounding out the top five was Bob Marley: One Love. It earned an extra $4 million for a four-week total of $89.3 million.
