In this gripping tale of revenge and survival, Pali has spent the last several years of his life in jail, counting down the days until he can go back to his small Punjabi village, Jungpura, and save its citizens from its rampant drug problem. Part of that problem is drug lord, Dilbagh, who leads young men into his business before they know any better.

After his release and return to Jungpura, Pali falls in love with a Canadian journalist named Ekum, who changes his life for both better and worse. Although he has now found love and peace and retreats from Jungpura, his life remains unsettled after he learns of the death of his childhood friend Bittu. Now he and Ekum must return to the village to settle the score with Dilbagh once and for all.
