When Windsor-based B-movie director Marshall Sfalcin embarked on a serious documentary about his grandfather Frank Fortin, founder of the HI-HO Restaurant chain, he asked his friend Matt Gallagher to document the process of trying to get the film completed.

But Gallagher quickly realized that the deeper story was Sfalcin himself, and made his own film -- a hilarious portrait of a man obsessed that has been likened to a Border-Town AMERICAN MOVIE. "The Marshall Sfalcin we meet in Gallagher's movie is reminiscent of Ed Wood, king of the '50s B-movies. Or at least the Ed Wood who is portrayed by Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's fictional film... engaging, funny... and thick-skinned." (Windsor Star)
