King Amfortas is stabbed with a magical spear by a vengeful Kinglser—a man who was rejected from joining the round table. The wound can only be healed by an innocent youth, as mentioned in a prophecy.

Kingsler finds Parsifal, the young boy who can bring peace to the king. He forces Kundry, an ageless women, to seduce the young boy and keep him from his destiny.
