Elle (Joey King) and her best friend Lee Flynn (Joel Courtney) get to spend their last summer before college at the Flynns' beach house, along with her college boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi), who happens to be Lee's brother. Elle finds the beach bucket list that she and Lee made years earlier of all the crazy things they wanted to do together before going to college, including diving with sharks. But Elle still has to make a decision. Does she go to college in New York City, to Harvard with Noah, or to Berkley with Lee, like they'd always planned?
