The Kings of Flint chronicles Flint, Michigan farmers and residents as they revitalize their city, a place abandoned by the automobile industry. In what once served as vacant lots strewn with weeds and trash, they grow vegetables and fruits that feed neighborhoods, schools and local restaurants.

What's also taking root are ideas that will create jobs and alternative means of sustainability.
