excellent follow up
waiting for the 3rd movie an to compare the first to the hollywood version. ee
quite a tangled plot. I enjoyed this movie more than the first in the series, the girl with the dragon on her back. Now waitinf for the third.
Great Movie and Series!
Although not as sharp as the first, stil a very good movie. Can't wait to see the next one.
Excellent! Can't wait for the next one!
Every good as the first, The Girl with A Dragon on her Back. Suspense fill up. Glad to understand Salander's background. Waiting for the next one.
Great movie and series.
Daniel Alfredson is not just a great hockey player, he's also an accomplished film director. Check this one out if you're in the mood for something that won't insult your intelligence.
Totally - Salander is one of the best female characters ever. Adored the books and can't wait for part 3!
Salander rules!!! (the lead female character). Black leather goth punk hacker chick is one of the best characters in the last 20 years. This is part 2 of a trilogy. If you've seeen part1, you won't need any encouragement to go see parts 2 and 3. If you haven't seen part 1, go see it right now. You can enjoy this movie (part2) on its own, however. It's the same characters but you don't need to know what happened in part 1 to enjoy the ass-kicking fun here. Swedish ass-kicking!!!
This one's getting a lot of buzz - loved the books! Looking forward to the Hollywood version too - anyone else?
The movies pale to the books. There is so much missing in the movies. The books explore the characters inner thoughts, important relationships, and other well-developed characters that are not even addressed int he movies. Do yourself a favour, if you enjoyed the movies .. READ THE BOOKS, TOO!
Good movie, subtitles. A good see.
Great story line. Too bad it wasn't in English. There were lots of parts where the words were the same colour as the background therefore I had to guess what they were saying.
The movie was good but would like to have seen it follow more of the book.
Dark, mesmerizing, tragic, emotional. Extremely solid cast that left me wanting to see them in future movies. I haven't read the books but feel I don't need to, considering how well the story was told in the movie. Not looking forward to the American version. It's insulting to the original version to think that it can be done 'better'. It should be left as is.
intense, cruel and beautiful.
not as great as the first one but great nonetheless
Great movie - almost as good as the first, which was amazing
somewhat disappointing compared to the first movie
Excellent movie... I love foreign films
This is my kind of movie. Loved the book, loved the movie.
not very good.
Awesome movie, and just as good as the book. So glad i got to see it. Exciting and briliant.
Thrilling pacing - excellent acting. For once, as good as the bbok. Can't wait to see the next one!
Definitely not as great as the first Dragon Tattoo, but certainly very well done, prefer the dubbed English versions though. Cannot wait till the American movie comes out.
As if possible, it is even better that the first novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. Could not put the book down and was drawn into the film unable to blink and mouth agape. Expertly directed, incredible acting. Not a person spoke in the theatre during the film, or left to get popcorn. I have read the third installment and am anxiously awaiting the film, The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. Rumour has it that Hollywood is going to attempt their own version. I wish them luck, they are certainly going to need it. Great Film, highly recommended.
Great docu-drama type show. Rivetting.
As good as the first movie, great thriller
Enjoyed this thriller
A very good but not great 2nd movie in the "Millennium" series. I would give it 5 stars except the cinematography is technically poor - grainy, jumpy and many scenes not exposed or lit properly - sort of like an "indie" movie. That got in the way of a otherwise fantastic 2nd installment; an intelligent persons thriller.
A really great movie.. great acting. Well worth seeing
Really good action movie. If you like it, you should read the book.
Lisbeth Salander is one of the most fascinating anti-heroines for our time and Noomi Rapace is the perfect fit to portray this brilliant, charasmatic but highly damaged figure. Michael Nyquist plays Mikael Blomquist with ease and likeabilty but this movie at times is anemic and lifeless. The fault lies in the lacklustre direction. Nevertheless, the narrative does hold the viewer's interest and I'm looking forward to the denouement of the final installment.
Very intense and violent but good!
Fascinating story and excellent acting, but way too much graphic violence.
At times difficult to follow due to subtitles but worth seeing
Great movie ... well-acted ... and nice to see the book series brought to the silver screen well thus far (2 parts in). Quite enjoyed the film, as did friends.
good movie, good story but could be better, the first movie is better on the story line and the contain makes you want to see what is going to happen next, with this one I find it a little bore!
A very good follow-up to the first great film. A hate to see hollywood ruin this by making their own version as the first two movies in this trilogy are awesome.
Very good, but not as good as the first one. Nonethless, this movie will keep you at the edge of your seat. I can't wait for the third one.
Enjoyed the book a lot more, but still a good movie to watch overall.
Disturbing but brilliant. Can't wait to read the books and see the 3rd installment. Wish Hollywood would leave it alone: the Swedish ones are fantastic. Subtitles are not that bad and when the movie is this good, it's easy to forget that you're reading them. Not for the light-hearted but well worth seeing.
I loved it! It was such a great movie, just as good as the first. Go see it...you won't be disappointed!
