After being dumped by his girlfriend, struggling writer Cedric, 23, is homeless. Roaming the city, he hears beautiful piano music coming from a dilapidated house. He goes to the door of the home, where he meets Isabella, the owner.

Formerly a famous concert pianist, this 76-year-old alcoholic has opened her home to eight young men, all struggling with various addictions. Isabelle reaches out to the young troubled writer and the two immediately feel a shared connection.
