While on a cross-country screening tour of his last picture, director Michael Sparaga interviewed fellow Canadians. Asking questions like "Do you know any Genie winners from the last decade?" and "What was the last Canadian movie you saw?" this project, originally thought up as a possible DVD extra, took on a life of its own. In the end, Maple Flavour Films is a sign of the anemic state of Canadian cinema today.
