One of the best movies based on biography. It seams that the script and directing are perfectly balancing the facts with the "artistic truth"
MUST SEE for All adults who engage in sexual activity . Learn something about the humankind.
Great movie! Good script and well acted. It is good to see a real hero immortalized in film.
Great performances by the principals and superb supporting cast. Beautiful dialogue, Audience participation/reaction to the film when I saw it was very receptive. Altogether a nmovie for the "thinking man" (and woman).
actors are doing good work, but the script needed a little more humor and fire in the right places. maybe a re-edit would have helped the pace a little.
This movie starts out slowly but then certainly builds interest. Highly recommended.
A brilliant film that brings taboo subjects to the surface and deals with them in a truthful and touching manner.
Absolutely awful. A real mess. Meanders around & says nothing of any significance when it could`ve made a real statement. Liam Neeson & Laura Linney are wasted. The only true greatness is that beautiful scene at the end with Lynn Redgrave (who was fantastic). Very cold & clinical for a movie about sex. (Got to love that irony.)
Kinsey is a great film. Very well acted.
This was a fantastic film about a heroic scientist who enlighted millions on the nature of human sexuality. He is a great man, a genius, and Liam Neeson`s portrayal of him should earn him an Oscar. He has save the lives of countless individuals.
This film completely leaves out the entire topic of Kinsey`s heinous sexual abuse of children (317 of them). Employing pedophiles as "trained observers" conducting "sexual studies" on children. Babies in some instances. His methodology was faulty and his findings completely unsound since he did not even take into account the vested interests and projections of the pedophiles whose "data" he solicited. To leave out this ugly aspect of The Kinsey Institute and Kinsey himself, is to give a highly unbalanced and white washed account of the man and his work. It is also a disservice to the children who were abused.
A frank and gripping story - - we see the mess of science confronting purtanical sexual norms, still very relevant today.
KINSEY IS GREAT!!! LIAM NESSON IS AMAZING AND HILARIOUS!!! A MUST-SEE OF 2004!!!
