After Lucas Waller survives a fatal accident, he gets thrust into the life altering path of addiction via prescription pain medication. Once these pain meds run empty, Lucas begins stealing and spinning the truth, not realizing he has become the addict.
With his family not fully understanding his new 'sickness', they too are thrusted headfirst through the realities of Lucas's new life. His father, Pastor Daniel Waller, learns of his son's illness and enters almost parallel journey fighting for his son, trying to bring him home.
Lucas's only hope to heal is his loving family, a local recovery home, and him properly navigating a very judgmental hometown.
