Festival des films du japon : Lonely Castle in the Mirror + Sweet

Seven lonely teenagers find themselves in a castle inside a mirror and must solve a series of riddles. 

Based on the novel by Mizuki Tsujimura, this magnificent animated film transports us into a secret world, where helping each other is the key to coping with everyone's problems.

The film will be preceded by the short film SWEET by Shoji Yasui (24min3, with French subtitles): Miwa, a second-grader, tries to be a "model child" by obeying her mother, Mizuho. But her piano teacher, Yuko, encourages her to express herself freely. Miwa's heart wavers between the two.

A tough yet delicate film, expressing the complexity of a child's little heart.
