Erickson on Film: Intersecting Lives: Talk + Intersection Screening

Erickson on Film: Intersecting Lives: Talk + Intersection Screening Movie Poster

On the 100th anniversary of the birth of Arthur Erickson, Erickson on Film curator Trevor Boddy will present an introduction to Vancouver’s most celebrated architect with a focus on his early life and work, showing how his early designs prefigure his most famous achievement, the Museum of Anthropology. This will be followed by a discussion with Intersection location manager (now, producer) Christine Haebler and Erickson’s long-term collaborator, Nick Milkovich, and a screening of the film — a Vancouver-shot melodrama in which Gere’s architect character is credited with several Erickson buildings (including MOA).
