Already a favorite the opportunity to see it on the big screen was amazing. The only trouble is this should have been a longer engagement as many folks I know were unable to get seats to the sold out shows.
This is such a timeless classic that I don't feel like anyone needs a review of the film itself, but rather of the experience. Being able to see this on the big screen was wonderful. It wasn't ruined by the over 30 minutes of Fathom Event ads, but these really need to be cut down. My husband had to go inform an employee that the lights were still on after the movie began. These were turned down very quickly so that the overall ambiance wasn't negatively affected. But I feel that there was a sort of disconnnect between the audience's needs and the theater's attention. None of this is able to negatively impact on the film itself which remains one of the greatest films ever made.
Classics on the big screen , Awesome!
Set in Morocco, this Thriller-Love story unfolds during the height of the Nazi march through the European continent, filled with twists, turns and a stellar cast, including Maltese Falcon alumni: It is not just a film, it is an experience.
