Former UFC fighter Jackie Justice (Halle Berry) is down on her luck and struggling to find her footing in life again. Having given up her son for adoption when he was just an infant, Jackie comes home one night to find him at her doorstep, with nowhere else to go since his father died. Her boyfriend Desi (Adan Canto) tries to get Jackie back in the ring, forcing her into an unsanctioned underground fight. After showing she still has fight in her, Jackie is approached by an MMA league owner (Shamier Anderson) who offers her a second chance to back in the ring, provide for her son, and show the world the real Jackie Justice.
