An AMAZING film. Very intense evoking many emotions; humour, sadness, disbelief, even fear. A compelling documentary that leaves you spellbound.

Absolutely Brilliant! The best documentary I`ve seen in a long time. Micheal Moore is amazing!

This documentary tells truths that make me laugh out loud, cry, and shake my fist in rage. We need more information about our society`s problems. Question authority and seek the truth. Question everything.

The most powerful documentary I have ever seen!

Moore is brilliant! No one has this much guts and grace all at once...a true masterpiece that takes the "boring" out of documentary. A real American hero, the kind that speak the truth.

I am first of all amazed that the US propaganda machine allowed this movie to make it anywhere outside a studio, and even more amazed that it was in theatres, a true eye opener for those of everyone!! Should be mandatory vewing in all highschools! A MUST SEE!!!

If this film does not elicit the type of response where one bowingly shakes one`s head, asking "why"- one should probably see it again and pay better attention. Despite being inaccurate in a few spots (namely with the depiction of the Canadian slum, locking of doors, etc.) it was extremely well done. Everyone should see this film before they formulate an opinion on President "Wag The Dog`s" campaign on "terrorism".

Fantastically done. Brilliant.

It should be mandatory viewing for high schools & Universities. It made me feel proud to be a Canadian.

a revelation that US Foriegn Affairs are dominated by monstors. ---that US is a morally bankrupt super repressive star that not only terroizes the poor people of the world including those living in the USA.

Bowling for Columbine makes me proud to be Canadian. It is interesting to note that Canadians own more guns per capita than the US. Why do we have so few gun deaths? Moore provided the impetus for discussion. A thought provoking documentary. A must see!

Anyone who believes this drivvle should have their head examined!!!

User review rating: 0 November 10, 2002

Absolutely amazing. Really leaves you in awe of American attitudes towards guns and violence. It is somewhat one-sided, yes, but you do get sick of hearing only one side from the other argument, and theirs is much weaker.

Great movie... I don`t always agree with what Moore has to say but it`s definitely nice to see someone putting it out there. I`ll be seeing this again when it comes out in general release.

User review rating: 0 November 07, 2002

Bowling for Columbine perfectly examines America`s culture of fear as a root cause of gun violence.

"Moore provides an invaluable service by sparking debate and encouraging thought. Better still, he does all of this, and more, while remaining one of the most savagely hilarious social critics this side of Jonathan Swift." -- Joe Leydon, SAN FRANCISCO EXAMINER

Absolutely provocative and thought-provoking cinema -- this is the type of film that is desperately needed in today`s society. Inspiring, horrifying, and hilarious all at once, this film is worthy of more praise than I could possibly express in words. This is a must-see!

Amazing and Eye-Opening! We needed this! Go See It!

Excellent film, with a great deal of humour and a greta deal to say about the American Gun Culture. It poses many questions and yet has the humility to leave many of them answered

Too bad Michael Moore isn`t mainstream enough for his movie to play in London, ON. Oh my goodness!!! It must be too controversial for London. Who among London`s snobbery would ever see such a film.

Will add this film to my library as soon it`s available in DVD and have all my children look at it at least once every 6 months. This film really open your eyes on America, should be played around the world. No terrorist will ever want to destroy America since they already are on the self-serve destruction mode.

Finally an unadulterated movie that found its way into the mainstream.
