Bleeding Light is a showcase of recent experimental film and video shorts that take the audience into various portals of mind, memory and movement. The program includes experimental artist Izabella Pruska-Oldenhoff's (who visited Winnipeg last year at the WNDX Festival) FUGITVE L(I)GHT (which features elaborately reworked found footage originally captured by the Lumiere Bros and Thomas Edison), Dana Claxton's AWOLEK REGATTA CITY, Becka Barker's ASSEMBLED, a hand etched collage film created with scratch animation, Lyla Rye's KALEIDOSCOPE in which a small child bouncing creates ever changing Rorsach patterns.
