All her life, Baboussia, an 80-year-old grandmother, has been devoted to her family. She sold her own home, dividing the proceeds between her children before going to live with her daughter to help raise her grandchildren. But when her daughter dies, Baboussia has nowhere to live.

Despite her sacrifices, none of her relatives express any interest in having her move in with them. Baboussia is threatened with homelessness.
