Now in her senior year of high school, Quinn (Sabrina Carpenter) wants to get into a top-tier college, so she decides to add an extracurricular by joining her school's dance team. The only problem? She can't dance. Even her best friend Jas, who's a great dancer, can't help her get on the team. Quinn decides to start her own team with other "diamonds in the rough" and gets a talented choreographer (Jordan Fisher) to agree to coach them.
