In the second official international trailer for The Lost City of Z we open on a scene of discovery as famed British explorer Col. Percival Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) says his reputation lies in the success of his discovery of a lost city. He prepares to leave his family and soon heads into the jungle of the Amazon and the dangers and difficulties therein. Although Percival is told the mission may cost him his life and questions what kind of “fool” he is to leave his family, those who love him are reassured that everything he has done – whether exploring the Amazon or fighting in the war – he has done for them. Images of his life as a colonel, a father, and an explorer flash as he begins the ultimate adventure.
