In the teaser trailer for The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Lucy (Elizabeth Banks) explains Bricksburg has changed since the events of Taco Tuesday and everyone has toughened up, except for Emmet (Chris Pratt), who still believes “Everything is awesome.” His happiness is disrupted when an invader named Sweet Mayhem (Stephanie Beatriz) arrives and kidnaps Lucy, who she declares is the fiercest warrior, not Emmet. In order to save Lucy and all his other friends who have been taken, Emmet must abandon Bricksburg and journey into outer space.
