'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' Trailer

In this trailer for The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, we meet Ajatashatru Lavash Patel (Dhanush), a street magician and hustler from a small neighborhood in Mumbai. Caught by London Police for trespassing, he performs a disappearing trick to distract the officers while his friend escapes. When he was young he was shocked to discover that he and his family were poor, which motivated him to become a street performer and magician to earn money, even if it sometimes got him into trouble. When he finally saves up enough money, he travels to Paris. While perusing a local Ikea he is immediately smitten by Marie (Erin Moriarty), a woman he sees in the store. Playing out some mock scenarios to charm her, he succeeds in setting up a following date at the Eiffel Tower. Stowing away in a cabinet, Patel finds himself in a moving truck headed to London, along with a group of illegal immigrants. This starts Patel's long and winding journey to get back to Paris and reunite with Marie for their planned date.
