In 1987 Denver, four rebellious young adults learn of their favorite band The Smiths’ breakup. Unable to move forward without closure, one of the impassioned fans, Dean (Ellar Coltrane), takes action by hijacking a local radio station and forcing the disc jockey (Joe Manganiello) to play The Smiths all night long. The rest of the group delights in the unexpected musical rebellion and a huge group of people commend Dean as he is taken away by police.
