In the first trailer for Mission: Impossible - Fallout, a man with a gun to his neck tells Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) that the end he always feared is coming and the blood will be on his hands. In a different scene, Alan Hunley (Alec Baldwin) tells Hunt he had a terrible choice to make in Berlin. One life, over millions. And now, the world is at risk. Ethan is being blamed for not holding on to the plutonium. The CIA believes he and his team should have sacrificed their lives. August Walker (Henry Cavill) sticks up for Hunt, telling the person in charge that Hunt has been betrayed by his government many times, asking how many times until he's finally had enough. We see Hunt having a dispute with Julia (Michelle Monaghan). Next, he's speeding through Paris on a motorcycle, climbing a mountain, almost attacking someone in a hospital bed and fighting a man alongside August. Scenes show Ethan jumping from one building to another, hanging from a helicopter by a rope, hitting the pavement when his motorcycle rams into a car and piloting a helicopter while August shoots at another aircraft.
