Sol Harkens (Kevin Sorbo) stumbles to the door in a drunken stupor when the buzzer goes off. We next see him on stage, debating with a religious man about God. We soon see Sol is a bitter man because his son Davey has died and he blames God for taking him. His wife (Sam Sorbo) pleads with him to stop what he's doing, because it's affecting his other two sons, but he shrugs it off. When Sol crashes his car, he wakes up in the hospital with a doctor telling him he was clinically dead in the ambulance. All Sol knows is that while he was out, he saw Davey.
