The first trailer for Darkest Hour shows the early days of World War II in England. Although he's not the first choice of many people within the current British government, Winston Churchill (Gary Oldman) becomes the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 1940 by King George VI when Neville Chamberlain resigns. With the world at war and the Germans quickly making advances, Churchill takes a firm stand against the Nazis and vows to save Britain and never surrender, whatever the cost may be.
