Major recent improvements

Major work on updating almost completed. Much better seating and snack bar, although snack bar prices have gone up.

Not enough seating

I can never get a ticket for a movie for the date and time we actually want to see it. Not enough seating in the theaters. Yea the seats are nice but I'll take the old seats and a night out with my family to actually get to see the movie we want to see. Better to just wake until it goes to Fairview Heights location and see it. I think it's ridiculous to have to buy your ticket several days in advance to see a movie. Then if something comes up and you are not able to go two days later then you have just waisted your money which is actually what I think happens a lot because the time we did go to a movie at this theater the availability was almost sold out except for maybe 5 seats and theater was only half full during the movie. Seats are comfortable.....availability for movie seating is horrible!!!

Save money-go to the Lincoln

Took my daughter to a matinee. Despite the theater being not nearly full, there were only two seats left where we could sit together. The seats- front row right- could barely see the screen from the angle, and the fancy recliner was stuck half open. For that we paid double what we would have paid for an evening show in Bellville. Certainly buy ahead of time if you want to sit with a party, or just skip the Marcus and pay less for seats and popcorn at the Lincoln than the cost of one seat at the Marcus.

Hidden policies

April 25, 2021

Management was rude and customer service was poor. The policies for children under 6 years of age in rated R films was not advertised on the website or other platforms. We arrived with our 1 year old son and was turned away. He’s not even old enough for us to purchase a ticket for him. Management apologized for inconvenience, but did nothing to help.
