Great theater

November 13, 2021

This is such a great small movie theater. They look out for DSP's whom have individuals with disabilities. I love their inclusiveness. Their prices are the best around.

If you don't feel like paying 80 bucks to see the hit new movie you've been waiting for, and don't mind sitting in a smaller theater, then this is the place for you.

Good popcorn, reasonable price for concession's and tickets, smaller sized theaters but you can always find a good seat and you don't have to pre-select your seats online. Theaters have good sound quality and video, however floors are not always squeaky clean like Regal, though not unbearable. Overall good price, good concessions, good quality, but you have to wait for the movies to leave big name theaters before it comes to South York Cinema, which sometimes is a blessing if you thought you missed the chance to see a movie on the big screen.

Hostile, crazy personnel

February 24, 2017

Twice while visiting this theater I was treated rudely & with hostility. !st time I was trying to get permission to bring in a snack for a child on a restricted diet (health concern) They took the snack from me and wouldn't budge. Second time, I was confronted by an angry employee for taking pictures of my grandchildren (only) inside the theater, before the main movie started. I was facing away from the screen. There were no other guests present. He told me that he wouldn't do anything about it this time (call the cops) but that it was a felony offense. No signs were posted in the theater stating such. REALLY? This is how you treat your customers? It's a shame because the theater is well maintained, clean, provides the latest movies at awesome prices. I'll go back but don't look forward to their shenanigans.
