STUPID POLICIES FOR MATINEES

I usually view movies there in early afternoon when there are few customers. Understandably the outside ticket office is closed and you are to pay at the candy counter. No conceptual problem with that either except there is only one line so one has to wait to simply buy a ticket while those in front of you buy cokes, popcorn,etc. I have yet to get a ticket in less than ten minutes. When you get to the front of the line you are asked to pick a reserved seat. Most of the movies I attend have less than 20 people in them so a sit anywhere option is more appropriate. The local manager told me that he had expressed concern about these two "policies" but the management above him won't allow him to make changes. Sounds like middle management needs to allow the local manager more authority and a bit more money for a second line. It is a very nice theater with a good offering of movies but stupidly managed.

This is Not a real Imax theater

The screen has a little curve to it but please don't be fooled like I was. It is not a iMax experience. When I saw that I could see Ford vs Ferrari in iMax, I was surprised so I called the theater and spoke with an employee and she said it was a iMax theater. Movie was good but I wasn't money upgrading my tickets.

Film didn't play

March 29, 2022

Our film did not play. Management was not even aware until this was reported by a guest. After about an hour refunds were offered which required standing in line for a long, long time. We were told we could return the next day for a refund. I did so and ran in to problems. MOD could not be found with repeated attempts to reach him by the staff. Another manager outside of this theater was located on the phone and was extremely rude, argumentative and said he would not honor the refund. He finally did allow the person on duty to give me a cash refund. Where was the manager of that theater?
