Way Over Priced

The problem with this Regal theater, is the fact that everything is over priced compared to other theaters in the area. They don't have combos for just a soda and popcorn so you pay individually which is a hefty sum. You have to choose a seat and for some reason I have not figured. It seems all they did was put numbers on the seats that were all ready there. Plus no one seems to know where the aisles are when choosing a seat in one of the theaters. You think that you are choosing an aisle seat and end up against a wall. The seats are not bigger or more comfortable and the very act of choosing seats slows down everything since you now buy your ticket, choose your seat and buy your concession all at the same time. It takes much longer for people who simply want a ticket. We stood in line over 25 minutes right behind a family with three children who could not make up their minds about the seats and concessions for their family. Nothing wrong with that and it was a holiday week and it was busy. But all I wanted was tickets I thought it would have been nice if someone in management had opened a place at the desk there just to buy tickets. The staff is friendly but obviously not well trained about the cost of things like upgrades. I felt sorry for a couple of the young people who were trying their best to help people but had to call over their supervisor two or three times in one transaction. Three different people may charge you three different prices for an upgrade and I was told that the price of the upgrade changes depending on what day of the week it is evident, that it also depends on who is ringing you up. . This is, of course, the fault of poor management. Handicapped people have a hard time since there is a vast entry without a bench in sight.

Terrible with posting movie listings/times in a timely manner. I shouldn't have to call to figure out what times the movies will be playing for the NEXT day. We are talking less than 24 hours notice on movie times. Ridiculous. Response from the worker who answered the phone, "I dont have the times for tomorrow. It'll be posted whenever my General Manager gets around to it." As if people dont have other lives and would actually like to plan to see a movie. (Insert eye roll here). Seems to me that the GM needs to be replaced. This isn't the first time I've had to call for movie times because the website failed to provide appropriate information.

Not Recliners

The theater list recliner seating. It is nothing more than slightly bigger seating with springing seats. They do not recline and you still sit and share arm rest, drink holders and leg room with the persons beside you. Will never visit this theater again.
