Box Office and ticket taker

August 13, 2019

My first experience was the movie was great food and service excellent. However I bought the tickets online for another date and couldn’t use them and was told by management via email I could use it for any show in the future as long as seats were available. I tried explaining this to the ticket taker who was by far one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever dealt with he then sent me to the box office who again didn’t want to deal with me either. He did eventually give me two seats but it’s was not til they both felt it necessary to berate and belittle me.

Terrible service!

April 29, 2019

I can't believe the glowing reviews left by others about this establishment. I dont like bashing businesses after just one visit, but our experience at the Movie Tavern tonight was nothing short of terrible. We attended the 635pm showing of Avengers End Game with some friends (party of 5 total.) Our waiter, Herv, was not in the theater until seconds before the show began (we arrived 30 min early in order to be served in a timely manner.) Other wait staff were passing out menus to their sections, greeting them, and explaining that there would be a limited menu this evening due to the volume of customers. It was another 20 min before he showed up. After arguing with the couple sitting next to us Herv finally came to take our order. He was very rude and unprofessional. Never introduced himself or explained the limited menu as all other wait staff did to their sections.I was prepared and knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered frozen signature tavernrita off the menu. Herv stated "uhhhhh we dont have that. We have a "blue thing, I think it has tequila in it." I asked for just a plain margarita then. Again he stated they didn't have that either, but they do have a strawberry margarita I said I didn't want that and settled for a "blue thing." I also ordered a classic double burger. My husband ordered a tavern double as did two other members of our party. Our food took approximately 1hr 15 min to come out (good thing it's a long movie.) When the food finally came out it was incorrect. I had received the same burger as the rest of the group, even though I specifically avoided it due to an allergy. We pressed the button to alert Herv of the issue. 30 min later he came over, didn't believe us, had to look our order up, and "inspect" the burger before placing an order for the new burger. In the mean time my brother in law waited 1.5 hr for his soda he ordered with his food. We were never offered drink refills or asked if we

worst movie experience ever

April 28, 2019

our movie started ten minutes late after we had stood in the hallway for an hour waiting for news they were finished cleaning the theater. I had to go in myself to see that they had finished cleaning and we all could go in. we never got service, the movie started so I went out to the bar to try to get drinks and popcorn. I was only able to get one bag of popcorn because "they had to make more".... 20 mins into the movie the lights came on and we were told the movie would be restarted since most of the patrons missed the previews. we were handed an abridged menu because "the kitchens were overwhelmed and these items were quick things they could make". we ordered four meals and drinks. we received one meal and a bill at the end of the movie for the entire order! I was told they would refund the money but by then our entire experience was ruined. I drove 40 mins to watch our movie 1 and a quarter times, late, to not get meals which is the cornerstone of the experience and to be surrounded by staff that was severely undermanned and utterly confused. employees were laughing behind closed doors and walking past angry, hungry guests while sipping their sodas. the movie tavern is a disorganized mess and should be ashamed of their performance tonight. I will NEVER set foot there again
