Wow, so many shows to see . . .

April 16, 2022

Provides showcase for any and every film out there which took time and effort and money to make. I've had only good experiences going to see a film here, including having to get help from a manager. Theaters are clean and seats are comfortable. Concession stand is just fine w/ offerings. Personnel are helpful and professional. DK why the reduced ratings before me, but I am a long-time movie goer and this could be my Standard!

So with only one or two star ratings, how is it possible the headline rating is averaging 2.55 stars ???? I've had three miserable experiences here. My friend wanted to go, not me. Stay away. The other review mentions anti-violence rules. Any theatre that needs anti-violence rules is a red flag.

Something not right is going on

December 28, 2019

I used to come to this theater all the time but haven't been in about a year. My family bought our tickets on Fandango for 9 of us to see Star Wars in XD. I was in front because I had the tickets on my phone. The young guy checked us in and we went to the bathroom first. Getting ready to walk into the theatre and the same guy hollers at me that I can't go in with my purse that size. My purse is a mid size shoulder bag. I asked him why not and he said theater policy does not allow purses my size in the theater because of the anti violence rules. I am stunned because 1) I never heard of that 2) my purse wasn't that big and there were plenty of ladies walking in with bigger and he wasn't harassing them and 3) It was too late to leave my purse in the car where someone would not know it was there. I opened my purse completely and said I can take everything out so be can see that I had nothing. He looked in but just said I don't make the rules, that it is theater policy. I told him to call the manager because I had no options and that was not the policy the last time I had been there. He just kept repeating he doesn't make the rules he is just following policy. I was getting very upset then a girl that was holding a broom told him that the rule was for book bag size purses. That it was ok. He said ok you can go and supposedly called off the manager. The whole thing was crazy and makes me wonder what was really.going on. Was this some scam to try to force women to put their purses in the car so that they can break in. Felt very wrong but I know I won't be back.
