Worst movie theater experience ever

December 26, 2021

You have rude workers. You have workers smoking weed in the hallways. And then while at the concession stand the worker goes what would you like coke, candy, weed, or popcorn? Acting like I didn’t catch that. And was very rude. The theater is not clean. And the bathroom aren’t clean either!

Best theatre in the woodlands small and quiet. Best recliners in the area and love the upgraded sound system. This is place place to watch your movies.

Worst movie experience ever.

December 18, 2017

My friend & I purchased tickets to see the movie “The Shape of Water” at the Cinemark Market Street Theater in The Woodlands, TX. for Sunday, 12/17/17 @ 4:05. When we got to the theater, there were two people sitting in the seats we had purchased. The four of us compared our tickets and they were virtual duplicates; same movie, same date, time, row and seat numbers. We sat down in two vacant seats next to the seats we purchased while the woman who had the same seats as us went to get the manager. A very nice young man who was an employee of the theater came to our seats twice, looked at all of our tickets. We continued to sit, waiting for resolution when the young couple who had purchased the seats we were sitting in approached, we told them what the problem was and that we were waiting for the manager. All involved in this fiasco were very nice & polite including my friend & I. The next thing we know the "manager", a Mr. Underkalsser came to the row where we were sitting, with two of his goons behind him, and ordered us to leave the theater because we were being disruptive. In point of fact, no one in the entire theater was being disruptive except for Mr. Underkalsser. When my friend asked Mr. Underkalsser if we could sit somewhere else, one of the boys he brought with him said, in an extremely rude manner, “yeah, you can sit down here if you can find a seat” pointing to the first four or five rows in the theater that are right up against the screen. At no time did the so-called “manager” try to rectify the problem. A couple of other patrons in the theater who witnessed this were asking the manager “Why are you doing this to these ladies?” “Don’t do this” “What are you doing?”. All of these comments fell on deaf ears as Mr. Underkalsser didn’t care to try and resolve the problem. We were escorted out of the theater and given a full refund for our tickets, however, we will NEVER go to this theater again. We were treated like criminals, honestly
