Great experience

The feeling of #Comingback after a long 12 months was nothing short of extraordinary!!! The cleanliness of the theater was perfect. Seeing all the smiling faces behind the masks made my heart happy. Thank you Cinemark for doing everything you can to keep us and employees safe through this pandemic.

Lazy employees and dirty theater

July 29, 2019

We took our family of five to opening night (4:05pm) of The Lion King. We purchased our tickets weeks in advance. When we arrived to our seats located in section C, we found popcorn, used condiment packets, used soda pop, and dirty napkins in our reserved seats. Once we bussed our area, we sat down only to find that my daughter’s and my chairs were broken. We then watched as other patrons came in and had to clean their own areas, and for this reason we didn’t get to watch previews which we enjoy. I went to the restroom halfway through the movie and found filthy conditions. All of the wall art on the way to the facilities had grubby finger prints, carpets were covered in popcorn and trash, the toilets were soiled and had piles of tissue inside of them, and the trashes were overflowing onto the floors. The counters were soaking and paper towels were strewn all around. When I walked out of the restroom and down the hall back to the movie, two young employees were walking around aimlessly flirting and laughing as if there was nothing to do. They did not yield or acknowledge me as I had to stop dead in my tracks to permit them to casually mosey around. When we got in the car later, my husband scoffed at how gross it was at Cinemark 19. We had purchased a large popcorn and large Dr Pepper. When my husband tasted the Dr Pepper it was flat and all syrup so he had to walk back to the counter to ask them to exchange it. He and my son had been drinking out of the side of the cup. The employee behind the counter requested the cup back with the flat soda, dump it out, and then he proceeded to use the dirty cup to scoop clean ice out of the bin!!! Literally, he used the dirty cup to scoop out the ice. My husband was horrified. Finally, I need to especially make note that the screen in the first movie theater to the right (I think it was screen 11) had poor quality lines all down the right side of the screen. Poor experience
