"No" ticket sales until 15 minutes before the show
July 03, 2018
This theater has an unofficial, unevenly enforced policy that they might not sell you a ticket more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the show. So if you'd like to purchase a ticket at 5 for a 6:30 show, then go to dinner, you might not be allowed to do that. It's not a published policy. I'm waiting to hear back from the company what the actual criteria are for when this is or is not allowed. The only reason so far was "tickets give you admission" and "problems." I was willing to accept a rundown and nasty bathroom considering how nice the seats are and how cheap the tickets are, but this was embarrassing.
