Best gig in town!
February 02, 2020
I’ve been coming to this theater for 25+ years and have made several adjustments. The seats are more comfortable and leather (unlike cloth seats where you walk out of a place and you feel like bugs are in your hair/clothes). Although staff are young, they are very pleasant and will get you want you want. For example, 2/1 I saw 1917 and they didn’t have Diet Coke. Instead of charging me extra for the bottle they would have charged me same as a small fountain to Accommodate me. When popcorn is low, I’ll ask for fresh hot popcorn and it’s not a problem. For the price of the ticket, soda, popcorn and 7 1/2 mile drive round trip, it’s the same price as going to the AMC. The only thing they can do is constantly keep the bathroom clean.
Quality at a reasonable price!!

Picture, sound level and movie selections are very good. Presently the theater is upgrading seats: that's comforting:) Additionally, ticket prices are exceptional!
Theater of choice

They show foreign and independent films that I would otherwise have to travel to Manhattan to see. I am very grateful for that. The seats are comfortable for me and I have a lower back condition. Tickets are much cheaper than nearby AMC and Regal. It's my theater of choice.
What a Dump

The theater shows the best Art House Films, is convenient for me and is inexpensive. Otherwise I would avoid it like the plague. It is in a time warp. The seats are so uncomfortable that you may want to bring your own chair! The sound system horrendous. You may want to get a sound boost device. I went there to see The Theory of Everything and the disc player broke down. This was not the only time this happened. The only positive I can say is that they hire very nice young folk who are respectful, eager to help and just plane nice. I guess the chain is going under and can't afford to renovate.
